On April 12th 2026, Our daughter was born Navy Kate Watkins. She came into the world at just 22 weeks. unfortunatly weighing less than 1 pound.
What should have been the happiest day of our lives, quickly became the beginning of a battle for our daughter.
within a matter of days Navy Kate was diagnosed with severe bilateral brain haemorrhages. A Grade IV bleed on the right side of her brain and a Grade III bleed on the left led to hydrocephalus. A dangerous build up of fluid on her newly developing brain.
